As the Director of Hart County Animal Shelter, Anthony Roberts leads our team with a deep commitment to animal welfare and community service. Anthony oversees all shelter operations, from the day-to-day care of our dogs, to the strategic planning and implementation of programs that align with our mission. His role includes managing shelter staff, coordinating rescue and rehabilitation efforts, and working closely with local authorities, volunteers, and community organizations to ensure the well-being of every dog in our care. Anthony’s passion for animals and his strong leadership drive the shelter’s efforts to reunite lost pets with their owners, find forever homes for those in need, and educate the community on responsible pet ownership.
I have been associated with HCAS as a volunteer since last year. I'm also the Education Coordinator for Animal Rescue Kare (ARK) in Hart County. The staff and volunteers at HCAS are committed to the health and welfare of the dogs we shelter. The staff is compassionate and caring. I am proud to work with them and be a part of the shelter's evolution towards a new Animal Shelter in Hart County.
